Who's Who at the Youth Pavilion

Angel Tree Farm Alpacas provides the public with opportunities to experience the alpaca first hand so that they may develop an understanding of its potential as a livestock investment and a viable farm animal option. Our goal is to develop an understanding of the value of the alpaca as a fiber producing and breeding animal. Our objective is to develop a self-sustaining farm for the future of our family and community.

Asbury Church is a family-friendly church that seeks to share the love of God in a contemporary way.

Lansing Drop-In Center provides area preschool children (18 months to kindergarten age) with a place to come and play with other children.  It is also a good way for parents and caregivers to meet people in the community, as well.

Museum of the Earth & The Paleontological Research Institution exist to increase & disseminate human understanding of the history of life on Earth. We conduct & facilitate research & provide interdisciplinary exhibitions & educational programming.  At Lansing Harbor Festival we will take visitors back in time 380 million years as they dig through Devonian shale to find trilobites, brachiopods, and other ancient marine fossils. Visitors are encouraged to not only find fossils in our dig bins but also take them home!

Lansing Youth Services provides hands on learning experiences to Lansing youth year round.  Programs include primitive survival skills, filmmaking, photography, and much more.  Each course strives to provide a fun and creative experience while teaching important life skills.

Lansing Community Library's mission is to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Lansing by providing access to information, cultural resources and opportunity for personal enrichment; Provide informational, educational, & recreational reading for patrons of all ages; Provide expertise and current technology for equal access to excellent library services, materials, personnel, & facilities.

Sciencenter is a hands-on science museum with over 200 interactive exhibits, educational programs, outdoor Emerson Science Park, a seasonal 18-hole miniature golf course. Plan your visit online at www.sciencenter.org."  At the museum's summer exhibition, "Get the Message," you can send a message in Morse code, become a TV news anchor, and create virtual cave art.

SPCA promotes the humane treatment of animals & operates an animal adoption guarantee shelter.

Crossroads the Clown, a.k.a. Frank Towner grew up in Rochester.  He moved to Lansing in 1994 and works at the YMCA.  He has been a clown for 31 years and considers it a labor of love.

Cayuga Lake Seido Karate practices a traditional Japanese style of karate focusing on self-development, self-defense, & physical fitness for children and adults.  Progressive training methods enable participation for anyone, including those with disabilities.  Our program provides integrated training of the mind, body, and spirit. We have students ranging from 6 to 62 years old!

Family Reading Partnership promotes reading through "the Bright Red Bookshelf" by collecting & distributing gently used books throughout the community.

Cayuga Lake Floating Classroom works to enhance the relationship between communities and Cayuga Lake through educational programming. The Floating Classroom hosts classes, community groups and camps from May to November each year.
