2009 Lansing Harbor Festival
LogoArt400.jpg The 2009 Lansing Harbor Festival is scheduled for August 15, 2009 from 10am to 8pm at Myers Park in Lansing, New York.

This original art by local artist Robin Schuttenberg has been chosen for the Harbor Festival logo for this year.  Click on the image (left) to see a larger version.

New This Year is the Lighthouse 5K Run, plus a teen pavilion featuring a DJ and kareoke from noon to 5pm in Pavilion G.

The Baker Cup Chicken Barbecue Sauce Contest
Lansing Harbor Festival proudly hosts the first annual Baker Cup Chicken Barbecue Sauce Competition.  Local barbecue enthusiasts will compete grill to grill to win the prize for best chicken barbecue sauce.  Judges were Village of Lansing Mayor Donald Hartill and Jodi Dake, Town Supervisor Scott Pinney and Sharon Bowman, and WHCU's Dave Vieser.

2008: Robin Shuttenberg won first prize, with Matthew Binkewicz taking second prize.
 
NEW: There is no entry fee.

Info for Food Vendors
Please be aware that anyone serving food to the public at this event is required to have a permit from the Tompkins County Health Department.

Please refer any food vendors to the health department for more information and permitting

Lansing High School and Elementary School

12 Noon to 8:30pm
 
Festival Info
  • Admission Is Free.  Donations to support the Festival and Lansing Community Council will be happily accepted, but there will be no admission charge for any of the entertainment.
  • Additional Parking is available in the Lansing Central School's parking lots with free shuttle service from the Elementary School and The High School.
