The Baker Cup honors Lansing's own Bob Baker, who spent his career developing ways to cook chicken, and who developed the popular Cornell Sauce recipe. A trophy cup will be on display with the name of previous winners.

Teen Pavilion |

Come join the fun at the teen pavilion at this years Harbor Festival. This year we are featuring one of the fingerlakes most premier Karaoke disk jockeys DJ Piper. Dj Piper is the host of hundreds of karaoke and dj events year round all across New York. Piper began his karaoke and disc jockey days in Viginia beach where he played for several years.
Nowadays, you can find him entertaining at weddings, taverns, parties, and festivals like the harbor festival. This is your chance to come on up to the stage and sing! Pipers Entertainment provides a great sound system, and enormous song books. And for the rest of you who don't sing, DJ Piper has the music from all genres to get any crowd fired up and dancing around! Don't miss out on this!

Salt Point Walking Tour 12:45 |

Lansing Recreational Pathways will be hosting a guided walk around Salt Point. Our town historian, Louise Bement, will be leading the walk and talk about the history of Salt Point. We will meet at the Myers Park entrance booth at 12:45 and the shuttle bus will leave at 1PM and take us over to Salt Point. We will return to Myers Park at 2 PM.

Activities at the Kids Tent |
|
|
There will be plenty to do in the Kids Tent, with activities scheduled
throughout the day. The ScienceCenter will be there helping kids to
make wind socks, a fossil lab from the Museum of the Earth, AC Moore
provided sun catchers, Asbury Church will be doing face painting, The
Plantsman Nursery's Dan Segal will be doing plantings with the kids,
Lansing Drop-In will be making necklaces, Jay and Carol Engels will be
showing some of their alpacas, the Tompkins County SPCA will be
planting catnip, Lansing Youth Services' Isabel Bazaldua will be doing
a variety of activities including 'recycled art,' face painting and
temporary tattoos.

- 4PM Karate demonstration with Cayuga Lake Seido's Robin McColley
