The contest is open to amateur chefs & professionals. This year’s contestants will fire up the grills around 10am at the barbecue pit & deliver the goods to the judge’s table in Pavilion B at 12:30.  Contestants will showcase their barbecuing skills & fight for the honor of having the best barbecue sauce in Lansing. Judges will include WHCU's Dave Vieser & Geoff Dunn, Village of Lansing Mayor, Don Hartill, Lansing Town Supervisor, Scott Pinney & others.

The Winner will receive $100 cash and a $100 donation will be made to the Lansing charity of his/her choice.  Oh yes, and 365 days of bragging rights to the Best Chicken Barbecue in Lansing!  Cheer on the contestants and experience the thrill of the grill…
